🛠 How to Install (takes 2 minutes)

Download your board's firmware + the web UI — Click the purple Download button for your specific board model, PLUS the www-nerdqaxe.bin web UI file. You need both files.

Open your miner in a browser — Type your miner's IP address into your browser address bar, something like http://192.168.1.123. If you don't know the IP, check your router's connected devices list.

Go to the Update page — In the web UI sidebar, find and click Update or OTA Update.

Upload the firmware file — Select your board-specific esp-miner-nerdqaxe*.bin file. Wait for it to upload and reboot. This takes about 30 seconds.

Upload the web UI file — After reboot, go back to the Update page and upload www-nerdqaxe.bin. Wait for it to finish.

Hard refresh your browser — Press Ctrl + Shift + R on PC or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac to clear your browser's cache. You should now see the LottoAxe OS dashboard.

Set your pool and wallet — Click Pool in the sidebar. Enter your mining pool URL and your wallet address. Hit Save, and you're mining!

⚠ Common Issues

"Incorrect file, expected: esp-miner-NerdQAxe++.bin" — The stock firmware checks the filename. Make sure the file you downloaded is named exactly what your board expects: esp-miner-NerdQAxe+.bin, esp-miner-NerdQAxe++.bin, esp-miner-NerdQX.bin, or esp-miner-NerdOCTAXE+.bin. Our downloads auto-rename, but if your browser didn't, right-click the file → Rename it to match. The web UI file must be named www.bin.

"I flashed the wrong board firmware" — Don't panic. Your miner may not boot into the web UI. Use the USB serial flash method to restore: connect via USB, flash the correct firmware with esptool.py. If you need help, email us.

"The page looks broken after updating" — You need to hard refresh. Press Ctrl + Shift + R (PC) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac). On mobile, close the browser tab completely and reopen it.

"Upload failed or timed out" — Make sure you're on the same WiFi network as your miner. Try again — sometimes the first attempt times out on slower connections. If it keeps failing, try a different browser.

"How do I go back to stock firmware?" — Download the original NerdQAxe firmware from the NerdQAxe GitHub repo and flash it via OTA the same way. LottoAxe OS doesn't lock you in.
