🛠 How to Install (takes 2 minutes)

Download both files above — Click both green Download buttons above. You should now have two files saved on your computer: esp-miner.bin and www.bin. Remember where they saved (usually your Downloads folder).

Open your Bitaxe in a browser — Your Bitaxe has a web page built into it. Open any browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and type your Bitaxe's IP address into the address bar. It looks something like http://192.168.1.123. If you don't know your Bitaxe's IP, check your router's connected devices list or your Bitaxe's screen.

Go to the Update page — On the left sidebar, scroll down and click Update. You'll see a green button that says "Choose .bin Files".

Upload the firmware file — Click "Choose .bin Files" and select esp-miner.bin from your Downloads folder. Wait for it to upload. Your Bitaxe will reboot automatically — this is normal. Wait about 30 seconds for it to come back online.

Upload the web UI file — After reboot, go back to the Update page and click "Choose .bin Files" again. This time select www.bin. Wait for it to finish.

Hard refresh your browser — Press Ctrl + Shift + R on PC or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac to clear your browser's cache. On iPhone/iPad, close the tab and reopen it. You should now see the LottoAxe OS dashboard.

Set your pool and wallet — Click Pool in the sidebar. Enter your mining pool URL and your wallet address. Hit Save, and you're mining! That's it.

⚠ Common Issues

"I can't find my Bitaxe's IP address" — Check your WiFi router's admin page for connected devices. Look for a device named "Bitaxe" or "LottoAxe". You can also check the Bitaxe's OLED screen if it has one.

"The page looks broken after updating" — You need to hard refresh. Press Ctrl + Shift + R (PC) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac). On mobile, close the browser tab completely and reopen it.

"Upload failed or timed out" — Make sure you're on the same WiFi network as your Bitaxe. Try again — sometimes the first attempt times out on slower connections. If it keeps failing, try a different browser.

"Version mismatch warning" — This means you uploaded one file but not the other. Make sure to upload BOTH esp-miner.bin AND www.bin. Reboot after each one.
